Innes and Jenny Spies bought Namaqua Lodge back in 1995 from his father and has been the owners since then. They brought a hard-working, service oriented attitude to the Lodge.

The Lodge was known as the old Commercial Hotel and before that the North-Western Hotel. The building is approximately 100 years old with various changes to the structure having been made over the years.

We have grown our Lodge together with our luxury touring company, Namakwa Toere, to include destinations to Namibia, Botswana, Kalahari, West Coast, Garden Route and our very own Namaqualand Flower Tours.
